This scripture reflects the heart of our music and worship ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. It is our desire to worship in spirit and in truth as we seek to connect people to Jesus Christ. From Children's Choirs beginning at age 3 to dynamic youth choir for 7th – 12th grades, to our adults in Celebration Choir, and Praise Teams and Praise Bands, we are committed to connecting people to Jesus Christ in a variety of ways.
Opportunities for Service
Calvary’s Worship Ministry invites you to exercise your talents and gifts in reaching others for Jesus. Children through adults have the opportunity to lift their voices in song.
Kindergarten and Children’s Choirs
Children, 4-years-old through 6th grade, have fun while learning more about music and how it can be used for God’s glory through choir. The curriculum includes music, lessons in theory, games, activities, as well as Biblical principles. All choirs begin in the fall and continue throughout the school year. The choirs present two musicals a year, including one at Christmas and one in the spring. The preschool and children’s choir also have the opportunity to sing in our worship services on occasion. The children’s choir meets on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room and the kindergarten choir meets in the preschool area at the same time.
